Singer-songwriter Sarah Hansen will be at Grates C Singer-songwriter Sarah Hansen will be at Grates Cove Studios on July 2 from 2-4PM. Sarah is a multi-talented and powerful singer-songwriter from St. John's, Newfoundland. Her songs are poetic and moving stories of love and loss, and precious souls she has met on her extensive travels. Her powerful voice and evocative lyrics move listeners deeply. She is an engaging and articulate performer who is comfortable onstage sharing stories with an audience. She has performed live in Canada, Guatemala, Mexico, Spain, and the United States. Sarah's music is often compared to artists such as Joni Mitchell, Sandy Denny, First Aid Kit, and Gillian Welch. Sarah's music has been described as intimate, tender, and truthful. Her compelling lyrics are poignant and relatable. Admission to this event is FREE however it would be delightful if we could support this amazing artist by purchasing her music or giving a donation of $10 or more if possible, we will also be matching all donations.

Sugar Kelp makes the perfect ramen broth….. So, Sugar Kelp makes the perfect ramen broth….. So, soooooo yummy. We kept this broth vegan, starting with lots of caramelized onion, garlic and ginger and built up our broth from there. But the star of this show is definitely the sugar kelp.
